TERMS OF USE
The present legal notice (hereafter Legal Notice) regulates use of the www.mainevent.es
portal (hereafter THE PORTAL) which is provided to Internet users by MAIN EVENT, S.L.", with a Barcelona address at Calle
Valencia, n 247, 1 1; Puerta A and whose
C.I.F. (Fiscal Identification Code) is B-62.522.289, inscribed at the Barcelona
Business Register, Tome 33.583, folio 212, page number B-230.988, inscription 1;
and registered as a travel agency titled gc-985 (Hereafter MAIN EVENT).
Purchase of tickets using THE PORTAL implies acceptance of each and every one of
the clauses contained in the present legal notice as detailed below.-
THE PORTAL deals with on-line sales of packages for all types of cultural and sports
events held both in Spain and abroad, specializing in those events of greater importance
or social repercussion, which are therefore more difficult to obtain.
MAIN EVENT.com is a receptive travel agent for international events, specialized
in obtaining tickets for packages, which are especially difficult to obtain for
shows or events that are sold out. Through our network of contacts and suppliers,
we are able to obtain tickets for almost any event in any city.
The use of the Portal implies the condition of being a user of the Portal (hereafter
"the User") and implies full and unconditional acceptance of each and every one
of the regulations included in this Legal Notice in the version published by MAIN
EVENT at the moment that the User accesses the Portal. Therefore, THE USER should
carefully read this Legal Notice every time they decide to use THE PORTAL, as it
could be subjected to modifications.
The USER should abstain from any kind of activity that could be damaging in any
way to THE PORTAL, MAIN EVENT and/or other users of the same. Should the user fail
to comply with any of the aforementioned obligations, MAIN EVENT reserves the right
to prohibit or deny access to the Portal of that User.
Duration
In accordance with the terms and conditions of this legal notice, along with the
General Contracting Conditions, MAIN EVENT reserves the unilateral right to temporarily
suspend or definitively terminate the provision of services through the Portal, as well as temporarily or definitively suspending the services of the portal
www.mainevent.es.
Access codes
The access code/ user name/ password are obtained by following the process in use
at any time as stipulated in the Portal by MAIN EVENT.
The user should not allow the use of their own access code/ user name/ password
to third parties. It is the responsibility of the User to protect and accordingly
update the access codes/ passwords. For greater security, MAIN EVENT recommends
that the User should not use the same word for both the user name and password.
MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility for any possible damage or prejudices or unobtained
benefits by the User, which may have been produced as a consequence of the loss
or extraction of the access code/ user name/ password to third parties and/or their
use by a third party.
MAIN EVENT reserves the right to unilaterally modify at any time the system by which
users can access the Portal.
Copyright and patent rights
MAIN EVENT is the owner, in totality, of the domain and the Portal www.mainevent.es,
including without exception, its design, structure and distribution, response to
consultations made by users, texts and contents, logos, buttons, images, pictures,
source code, as well as copyright and patent rights, and any other distinctive signs,
belong to MAIN EVENT or, in given cases, the people and companies that appear as
the authors or owners to the rights. Violation of the aforementioned rights shall
be dealt with in accordance with present legislation. Reproduction, or the total
or partial exploitation, by any means, of the content of the MAIN EVENT website
for uses other than the legitimate information and contracting by users of the offered
services is strictly forbidden.
MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility in any respect for copyright and patent rights
belonging to third parties that are infringed by a third party or user.
Use of cookies
In order to control user sessions, www.mainevent.es uses cookies when they navigate
the site. The cookies are temporary, i.e. they disappear at the end of the session.
Therefore, this cookie is not stored in the hard drive and when the user closes
the sessions it will not appear. The cookies used cannot read hard drive data or
read cookie archives created by other suppliers. The cookies used are harmless and
are only used during the user session. The user can configure their computer to
provide on-screen warnings of the reception of cookies. Please check your navigator
instruction manual for further information. To use MAIN EVENT the user must permit
the installation of temporary cookies.
Responsibility for Functioning of the Service
1. MAIN EVENT is not responsible for any delays that occur in the delivery of tickets
or that are caused by internal functions of the Mail service or other messaging
services used for sending.
2. Loss, robbery or deterioration of tickets acquired during the sending process
will not be the responsibility of MAIN EVENT.
3. MAIN EVENT shall take all the measures possible to guarantee correct delivery
of tickets. Its responsibility for delay, should it occur and render the tickets
useless, shall be limited to the return of the cost of the same.
4.- Availability.- Tickets for all types of event are subject to availability. Owing
to the nature of our work, tickets can be supplied on the same day as the event.
In the case of purchase of several tickets for the same event, we cannot guarantee
that they will be located alongside each other, or even in the same row or section.
5. - Cancellation policy:
- The cancellations and/or returns are subject to the following conditions:
Ticket orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the event, as long as there is a valid reason for the cancelation. And only in the following cases:
- Orders will only be able to be cancelled if match take place in the city of Barcelona (except for Champions League Matches and the FC Barcelona Real Vs Madrid).
- The rate of cancellation will be in all the cases of 5%.
Cancellations and/or returns in any other case will not be accepted. It is responsibility of the customer to know with exactitude the date and hour of a party, which can be verified in the local press and Web sites. The website: www.lfp.es will be able to know the schedule exact.
However, in the case of an unjustified cancellation the tickets from that order will be resold whenever possible, in an attempt to refund the money to the customer in question.
IMPORTANT: The orders paid with credit card American Express will be definitive; these orders could not be cancelled nor will be made returns of the paid amount, in no case.
6.-Weather conditions.- Weather conditions could affect travel to or from the place
of the event, or lead to the cancellation or postponement of the same. These circumstances
are beyond the control of MAIN EVENT and therefore the cost of tickets cancelled
for such reasons shall not be returned. In any case, the responsibility of MAIN
EVENT shall solely be for the price shown on the ticket.
7.-Transport.- MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility for damage, delay, cancellations
or inaccessibility of public or private transport for uncontrollable external causes
such as flooding, fire,war activity, revolutions or any other circumstance beyond
the control of MAIN EVENT.
8.-Impossibility of obtaining tickets.- If the tickets required by the client cannot
be obtained, MAIN EVENT reserves the right to obtain instead tickets belonging to
the immediately higher or lower category (with the consequent return of the proportional
cost) depending on availability, or to cancel the purchase order with no further
obligation than the return of the cost paid.
MAIN EVENT shall make every effort to obtain the ticket requested, but cannot guarantee,
in any way, that it will obtain said tickets, or accept responsibility for any failure
to do so. Should such a circumstance arise, MAIN EVENT will have the sole obligation
of returning the quantity paid for the tickets that could not be obtained.
Exemption of responsibility for functioning of the web site
MAIN EVENT does not guarantee that the web site will constantly be dependably and
correctly functional, without delays or interruptions, and therefore MAIN EVENT
takes no responsibility for damage or prejudice caused by possible unavailability
or technical discontinuity of the web site.
MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility for any damage and/or prejudice and/or unobtained
benefit by the user or any damaged third party as a result of any uncontrollable
circumstance, any incident, failure or error of communication systems, or defective
service supply or Internet failure.
MAIN EVENT does not guarantee that the content of the Portal will always be up to
date, nor that the content contributed by users or training centers will observe
laws, morals, good faith and/or decent behavior, or that they do not contain some
kind of error, such that MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility for any damage and/or
prejudice and/or unobtained benefit by the user or any damaged third party as a
result of the same.
MAIN EVENT accepts no responsibility for any damage and/or prejudice and/or unobtained
benefit by the user or any third party caused directly or indirectly by connection
and/or use and/or access to the www.mainevent.es web site or pages linked to it,
and is therefore not responsible for any damage and/or prejudice and/or unobtained
benefit by the user or any third party for the following causes:
Incorrect functioning, defects, failures and/or damage caused totally or partially
to the user's hardware or software.
Loss, alteration and/or total or partial damage of information contained in magnetic
supports, discs, tapes, floppy discs and others, as well as the introduction of
computer viruses or unwanted variations or alterations of all information, documents,
files, databases, hardware and/or software.
Applicable law and legal responsibility
The user or training center accepts that the legislation applicable to the functioning
of this service is Spanish Law and it shall be the legal authorities and courts
and tribunals of Barcelona that shall resolve any divergences derived from interpretation
or application of this clause.
For all tickets printed with the name of the customer, in case you can not access
to the ground, will not be the responsibility of MAIN EVENT S.L.
IMPORTANT:
All orders paid with using American Express credit card will be definitive; these
orders can not be cancelled or refunded.
In case we can not delivery the tickets to the clients in hand, the tickets will
be delivered at the porter’s lodge (in a private house) or at the reception of the
client hotel. The porter or the concierge will be responsible to hand over the tickets
delivered by Main Event to the client, so the client will accept our receipt with
the signature of the porter/concierge and the stamp of the hotel as a valid delivery
receipt. The user can also select collect the tickets at our office.
